"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." Dr. Seuss
Today is Elvis Presley's birthday he is 78 years old today... Happy birthday to the king of rock-n-roll. Now I don't want to hear from any of you asking me, "what I'm talking about, don't I mean he would have been 78 because he died in 1977?" Elvis isn't dead, he's in Witness Protection somewhere, living out his retirement golfing, fishing, and singing around the campfire. Now don't you try to tell me any different, it will just upset me and make me cry.
Anyway, in honor of The King's birthday, I wanted to play a few of my favorite songs of his for y'all. Hope you enjoy.....
This is my favorite Elvis song, ever:
This song is just so sexy and jazzy, I really love it:
This song always gives me chills and fits my blog perfectly:
I have never been a fan personally, but nobody can deny he will forever be one of the most influential artists of all time. Big loss for the music industry, who knows what he will have achieved or inspired had he lived longer.

we even went to graceland one year for our family vacation.
He seems like he was such a fun life-loving guy.
I'm a big Elvis fan, too! And In the Ghetto is one of my favorite songs. I also love Kentucky
Rain.
