Cartoon of the Day - High School, How Things Change

I just heard on the news today that the teenage girl averages six text messages every hour... boy has high school changed.  I remember when I was a teenager I was allowed one 5 minute phone call (land line of course) every hour after school - ONLY after all my homework was finished. Then heaven forbid someone call after 9:00p.m.  Can you imagine that.... I must have had the meanest parents in the entire world!!  Awww Shucks

I was just thinking about this the other day too. Remember when boys/men thought it was uncool to talk on the phone? Now you would never catch a teenage boy without one and my husband is on the phone nowadays more than me! All because they can carry it around in their pocket. And the texting...I honestly don't know what I'd do without it and can't imagine how dependent teenagers are on it today. Technology is something.

Our parents must have been alike because I remember we had to always ask to use the phone (yep, a good 'ol land line) and abosolutely no calls after 10:00 and in school, please, I never asked unless I was so sick someone else had to call my house. What a world, smiles.
