Welcome to a Monday's Music Moves Me, the fantabulistic music meme hosted by me, my dearest of friends Dolly from XmasDolly, Larry from Cakeblast, Callie from Jamerican Spice and the wonderful Stacy from Stacy Uncorked. This week's theme, thanks to Naila Moon, is Songs from the Seventies.
I happen to think this is the BEST song of the 70's... the guitar work is just so awesome.....
Stairway to Heaven ~ Led Zeppelin
The next song is one of Bill's favorite, not to mention I love it too. You can't have songs of the 70's without having one by this fabulous artist, gone too soon.....
Imagine ~ John Lennon
Another artist that was taken from the world too soon.....
Me and Bobby McGee ~ Janis Joplin
The next song is one of my favorites and actually from the very first album I bought with my own money when I was a kid. However, I chose a video that always makes me smile.....
Bohemian Rhapsody - The Muppets (yep, you read that right!)
This last one is a little long but always makes me think of the 70's.
Free Bird ~ Lynyrd Skynyrd
So what's moving you today? Write up a post and let us know... Here is all you need to do to play along:

I have officially heard Led Zeppelin for the first time, and thank you for that. (Yes, I've been living under a rock, and I'm too young to know about good music, and all that jazz.)
I'm loving these theme!
Rocking tunes hon!
HOpe you enjoyed your long weekend!
I used to hate (HATE!) 70s music. I don't know why, it was just an ugly decade to me. Ugly clothes too. But now, I'm only mildly annoyed by it and actually like some of the stuff. :)
Happy Labor Day to you, sweetie!
Love all of your picks! You did great mama with the 70s theme. Keep on rocking!
Those are some of my ultimate favourite songs. (Imagine, Freebird and Bohemian Rhapsody) makes me very happy that my girls know the lyrics to them!!
Imagine and Bohemian Rhapsody are my favorites. :)
