Welcome to a Monday's Music Moves Me, the fantabulistic music meme hosted by me, my dearest of friends Dolly from XmasDolly, Callie from Jamerican Spice and the wonderful Stacy from Stacy Uncorked. This week's theme is Music from the 1980's! So, what's moving you today???
Let's just say, in my opinion, the music of the '80s just doesn't do much for me in general. I was still listening to the great rock 'n roll of the '60s and '70s but I did manage to find some decent music from my four years in high school, 1980 - 1983 to be precise. Here they are in chronological order for you.....
Another Brick in the Wall ~ Pink Floyd
..... Gotta love Pink Floyd!
I Love Rock and Roll ~ Joan Jett and The Blackhearts
..... funny thing, I just sold my black leather pants at our community porch and yard sale this weekend.
Sweet Dreams ~ Eurythmics
..... I love Annie Lennox's voice, have you seen her lately? She looks so much different, but still has those beautifully expressive eyes.
Jump ~ VanHalen
..... there's nothing like an '80s "hair band!" =)
Hope you liked my selections from my high school years - 1980, 81, 82, and 1983... what's moving you today? Write up a post and let us know... Here is all you need to do to play along:

I think it's funny you have the same sentiment about music from the 80's that I have about the music from the 60's and 70's... ;) You picked so many of my favorites today! And I'm chuckling over the fact that you just sold your leather pants this very weekend. ;)
I love 80s music, but then I love music from every decade. But The 80s brings back some fun memories. Love all your picks! I run to the Eurythmics "Would I Lie to You".
Awesome choices :) I think that's one of my fav Pink Floyd songs!
Yes! Another Brick...! We would sing that whenever we wanted to play truant in high school. When I became a teacher I once witnessed my students singing the same song. And I thought it had died long ago. It looks like Pink Floyd created a song for several generations of students.
Joining the Love Train another week. I so do love the 80s music. You picked some of my favorites, especially I Love Rock n' Roll! That one had me groovin'!!! =D
80s Rapture with 4Ms
