Wordless Wednesday: Halloween Candy

WORDLESS

This is the candy I started with.

This is how far I got on Saturday.

Half-way through on Sunday morning....

I made 210 baggies with 10 pieces of candy and a little spider ring in each baggie, we started getting trick-or-treaters at around 5:00pm and ran out just before 8:30pm ~ we had a lot of fun!!

Sounds like you have a popular house, and it's easy to see why!

I used to get tons of kids, but the last few years, it's really dwindled. This year I was at John's, so I didn't buy any candy. John had 2 kids knock on his door, that's it!

Oh my goodness! So sweet of you to go to the trouble to make up goodie bags. We had about 20 trick-or-treaters this year in Maryland, which is way up from years past! Despite being in a neighborhood, most of the little ones are all grown up around here.

Wow! We should have come to your house.

I should have come to your house too. I want candy! And you are too sweet to actually put stuff in bags, I'm the queen of throwing in a bowl and fend for yourselves. :)

Some years I get 10 kids, other years I get none at all...it's hit or miss. Those treats are awesome.

Wow that's a lot of kids, around here, there's not that many that go out anymore.

Wow! This is the first year I did not make candy bags and feel a little guilty about it. But, I am also a little thankful because we did not get very many trick or treaters. We took the girls around the block and came back to hand out candy, but our streets were pretty empty and there were not very many families handing out candy. It was definitely a strange year here.

210!! and you made up baggies! You are ambitious! we don't get any kiddos where we live now, but where we used to live I would run out every year! lived on the main street of a small town, and city people would drop there kids off & pick them up later... not fair for the local kids... but what can you do? I miss seeing the kids & their costumes.

wow, i should have brought broxton to you
we had 5 trick or treaters.. only 1 on a costume...
and NO ONE did trick or treating in our neighborhood... meaning, broxton did not get to go to ONE HOUSE
