Celebration's Relay for Life

On, Friday, May 14th our town of Celebration held it's annual Relay for Life. This years theme was Broadway and the booths were amazing.

Then there was the luminary ceremony, which always gets to me... it was so beautiful. We were able to light all the way around the lake in downtown Celebration.

There was an entire street of luminaries for my friends Dennis and Amber Larkin's son Noah, who I have mentioned before. I was in awe of how many people loved Noah so much, it brought me to tears.

Our little town was able to raise just over $132,000.00 for cancer research. It is my hope that someday we NEVER have to have a Relay for Life again!

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day – cancer will be eliminated.

Until next time..... Lorie
