I have to ask this question... and I don't want you all to hate me, because I know, from reading lots of blogs, that there are several of you out there that are HUGE, and I mean HUGE, fans of this genre...
But what the HELL is with all the VAMPIRE stuff?????
There are books, movies, TV shows, toys, etc. ALL about vampires!! I am really sick and tired of it all!!!
Now I may be the ONLY one it the world who is, but holy cow.... what is it? I just don't get it.
I REALLY loved Moonlight when it was on TV, but that was because Alex O'Loughlin is so gorgeous {and still is, I might add, on Three Rivers - oh, that smile ~ not to mention a spokesman for organ donation!} and didn't look like the undead!!

new crop of vampires are skinny, pasty white, children with no muscles and look like they are dead -- yeah, I know vampires ARE dead!! Yet everyone is so in LOVE with these kiddies... I just don't get it. Why are there so many books, movies and television shows about them? Please tell me it is a passing fad. Are there really this many grown-up adult women that are interested in these things? Am I THAT out-of-touch with things, that I prefer to read books and watch movies and TV shows that tell stories about serious, real things?

OK, I'm done with my rant... I guess I'm just not "hip" enough (shows my age, huh?) to understand, so I'll go back to watching my reruns of Criminal Minds, Law & Order, and M*A*S*H, TV shows that told stories about social commentary with humor and actual dialogue (no offense intended). I'm just a square, I guess!!

Loved Moonlight also! He's gorgeous, he's on a new show now. I think it was Three Rivers! He's awesome and I was so great to see him again.
I just love to read and the books were well written ;), besides that no obsessed :)
