Ruby Tuesday: Roman Ruins 10/6/09

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday... Today my photo is this gorgeous flower that I found all alone in the ruins of a temple in Rome. It was amazingly beautiful sitting there so bright with no other color around, just stone and rubble.

Don't forget to stop by Mary's blog Work of the Poet to add your post on the link.
Until next time..... Lorie.

That flower looks so out of place. Just beautiful!

I've always wanted to go to Italy. Excellent picture, the scarlett flower really stands out against the gray background.

In Roman rubble
one red flower blooms—enough
to feast weary eyes.
