I Finally DID It.... The Haircut!!

So, I finally went and got my haircut ~ after a year and a half ~ and I'm really happy with how it came out... Let me know what you think.

Before: (I did get caught in the rain this morning - TeeHee)

After:

Quite a difference, huh?  It will be SO much easier to take care of and something wonderful happened by having so much cut off:  I was able to donate 10" to Locks of Love ~ so some lucky child will be able to have a wig using my hair.  That makes me happy!

You look beautiful! Wonderful about the "locks of Love" my oldest son grew his out for that, and has big wavy curls.
So your curls are natural? gorgeous! I have to pay for mine :( ~hugs, Faythe

ooooooooooo GIRLFRIEND YOU ARE ONE HOT MAMA! YO BILL, If you don't take this lady out on the town somebody else will! What a huge difference & donating your hair how wonderful. My granddaughter does that every year. Her hair grows fast and thick & it being jet black they snatch her up all the time. Look at you. Just look at that big smile!! So sweet! Although I love long hair & your hair was beautiful, but this .... WOW!

It looks FABULOUS Lorie! I've been considering doing the same, but I'm just not brave enough. You have nice hair...me not so much. Mine is skinny and flat. I'm afraid I would look like a boy.

Did you have a style in mind when you went in? or did you let your stylist choose? I need to find a new me...but I'm skeered.

wow what a difference. You look so much younger. I LOVE it.

Donating your hair is such a beautiful thing. My daughter has donated hair twice both times around 16 inches. She received a nice card in the mail thanking her for the donation too and it such a beautiful reminder that your doing something good for someone else

Congrats on the new do. I bet your head feels so much lighter.

Talk about a before and after transformation!! I didn't realize your hair was that LONG O.o

I did the same thing though when I had long hair-I like the look of long hair, but I HATE taking are of it. I'm much happier with short hair :)

You look so beautiful Lorie! That haircut really suites you. And it's wonderful you were able to donate!

Wow! You look fabulous! And yes, that is a major change, but I love it. I am thinking about doing the same thing, but I need to grow my hair out a little longer...probably the end of this winter.
