Halloween 2011

.

We've had a pretty busy Halloween around here... On Thursday evening, the local pet supply store, Woof Gang Bakery, that we totally adore because it is SO much more that just a pet store, (It is the place that held the adoption event where we were lucky enough to get Mandie.), held it's annual Howl-O-Ween party. We love going to this event as it is a chance to get together with friends and neighbors and their doggies for some treats for both the humans and the pets. Here are some photos of us getting our doggies ready for the party:

Nano as Jack Sparrow
Mumbo as Hotdog
Mia just wouldn't stand still for a photo... temperamental princess. =)

Cannot get ALL six???
Finally all six: Mandie, Mai-Li, Nano, Maila, Mumbo, Mia

So once we all got ready, we took all six to the party... it was the first time we have ever taken all six to an event.  I am happy to say they all behaved amazingly. They had a great time with all the other doggies and loved the attention they got from all the humans. Here are some photos from the party:

Nano makes a friend

Mumbo makes a friend

I think the boys are gonna fight over this beautiful girl. TeeHee!!

Owner dressed as Geisha

Mai-Li as Bumblebee - Isn't she adorable?

Don't they all look so adorable? I love that Woof Gang Bakery does this for the families in our community and for lots of abandoned animals in shelters. They raise money at these events for so many animal charities that it makes me proud to help them and share the information with you.

This is how MUCH fun my babies had at the party:

Good night sleepy Mai-Li Bee

Maila - fallen angel

Hope you all had a happy Halloween... OH, and if you have any Mounds bars left over, send them my way. We ran out of candy around 7:40p.m. - I made 200 baggies to hand out and can't believe they went that fast. HUGGLES to y'all!

You're doggies are so adorable! Love the costumes and what a fun event at the bakery. Glad to hear you had a great Halloween! Sounds like you had a ton of trick-or-treaters!

They're all so adorable, Lorie. I think Nano is the 2nd most handsome pirate I've ever seen. ;) Glad you all had such a nice time.

That's wonderful that you have community events like that. I'm envious. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever had dogs that would behave around dogs that they don't live with. Maybe some day.

Oh and over 200 trick-or-treaters? We had four. Yes, FOUR. Of course, some of that is our fault. We took our little ones out first and then when we got back, I guess the rush had already passed.

This was the first Halloween that I actually saw some dogs dressed up. Our friend brought their golden lab dressed as a butterfly. And there was another family that brought a pug dressed like a sheep. A very ferocious sheep. That little dog did not like our friend's lab at all. Poor little thing got all worked up. I think they wound up taking the pug home.

Oh goodness gracious-Look at all those adorable little pups! You weren't kidding when you said they were too cute xD

That's so fun that you got to dress them up and do that-What a fun way to treat the fur-kids in your life :)

We pretty much ran out of candy early, too O.o Not as many as you had, but around 120, and probably more if we could have kept going!
