I saw this on the web earlier and it moved me so much that I had to share it with all of you.
The ASPCA is one of the charities that I donate to every year, unfortunately the amount has gotten a little smaller each year, but I still try to find a way to help, even if it's only with a bag of dog food.
If you are considering getting a dog for your family, PLEASE consider adopting - you can save a life and receive the love of a lifetime - I know we have!

Aw. That moved me to tears! I have three furbabies, and I would be so heartbroken to have to turn any one of them over for euthanization. In fact, before we got our third furbaby, we had another - a stray that came into our yard in pitiful shape. We held onto him for as long as we could...got his vaccines updated and put on heartworm prevention, but unfortunately he already had the worst case of canine dental disease the vet had ever seen. I could not afford the surgery to get that fixed for him, and he didn't live much past that winter. When we finally had to take him in to be euthanized, the dental decay had gotten much worse, he had an ear infection and a heart murmur AND he was already about 12 years old. We were devastated, but felt it was the most humane thing to do for him.
Sniff...sniff...
Okay, emotional girl expecting her monthly visitor should NOT watch videos like this. As soon as he brought up his goodbye to the dog, I sobbed like a little baby o.O
What a beautiful story and the best part is this one has such a happy ending :)
