The Day The Music Died.....

.

On February 3, 1959, a small plane chartered by Buddy Holly crashed, claiming the lives of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, and the pilot. Three of rock and roll's most promising performers were gone. It came to be known as "The Day the Music Died."

Here is Don McLean's song American Pie which is a tribute to those fabulous singers gone too soon:

RIP!

That's a great Post girlfriend. It's good to make people aware of their heritage & to honor it. I just came back from the Vet & baby has this fatty tissue the size of a league ball hanging from her chest, but the doctor said just to keep an eye on it, and if there's any changes just to let her know. I could have it removed, but it would cost $1,200.00 plus... so as long as she's not in danger we're just going to watch it carefully. Going to do a Post on it shortly. Have a great weekend.
