Elvis Presley! Great pick. I used to not know that I can't help falling in love with you was by him. There's a version of that I heard in the 90s. Happy Monday!

Great choices, Lorie!! I Can't Help Falling In Love With You is my all-time favorite Elvis song. when I was young, I wanted that to be my song when I got married. When I did get married, we did not dance to this song. I can't even remember what we did dance to!

What a marvelous voice he had. My cousin is so ga ga over that man! She's got everything Elvis, but is any human being meant to be the King of anything? I think it's much to much for any one man to handle. I personally like to think he's somewhere living out his days peacefully. Maybe sitting on a rock somewhere playing his acoustic loving nature. He deserves it!

i know this is sacrilege...but elvis just doesn't do it for me. the only two songs i like are late-career elvis: Suspicious Minds and In The Ghetto. In can appreciate the contributions he made to the growth of rock 'n' roll, but that's about it.

I was lucky enough to have seen Elvis in concert when I was a teenager; he, however, was considerably older and died just a couple of years later. Although by that time he was known as the "fat" Elvis, I didn't care -- he was still handsome, sang like nobody else, and put on quite a show.

I hope that I will be able to figure out how to find y'all again next Monday because this has been one heck of a fun meme!
