So as your Queen of Hugs (that would be ME), here are my songs for this week....  This first one is such a wonderful song (sung by one of the ugliest men in the world) and I have been lucky enough to see him in concert with my darling hubby who sang it in my ear at the same time. I get goose bumps just thinking about it.

You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker

Here is another beautiful song by an artist that my fabulous husband has taken me to see twice, and it's just so romantic to be swaying in each others arms, looking into each other eyes and singng (or the facimile of singing) with thousands of others doing the exact same thing. Such an amazing experience, here's.....

Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart

This last song also has special meaning for me and Bill... unfortunately, I have never had the chance to see him in concert - but BOY would I LOVE too, and so would Bill. But, this is the first song that we ever danced to together... it was in the living room and we had the stereo on, it was no big deal and at no fancy function, it was just spur of the moment and we were looking into each others eyes and singing to each other. I remember it like it was yesterday... it was 15 years ago.  Even now, when this song comes on the radio and we are  the same room, we will still "dance" - such as it is - together, look into each others eyes, and sing to each other.... I love him more today than I did those 15 years ago, and I am SO lucky to have found him and that he stuck with me through all the thick and thin. Here is.....

Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton

You Are So Beautiful is very romantic, and Rod Stewart, omg I'd love to watch him live. Eric Clapton was here in Bangkok first week of this month. Conflict of work schedule and entertainment - I didn't get to watch him. Next time I will. Your love story is inspiring.

Joe Cocker looks like he's high, but he always looks that way. Love him. Rod Stewart what can I say, but infamous, and Eric Clapton now he's my "American Idol" every year! When I was in the band we use to sing this song. Very cool! Great choices my friend.

You crack me up, no Joe Cocker definitely is the best looking man but I love that song. I loved Rod Stewart as a rocker but man can he sing the standards. I have all the classic cd's. Eric Clapton is another of my faves too. love your choices this week!!!

Those are some greats. Poor Cocker just hasn't aged as nice as some well maybe didn't start out as pretty either ... lol. Great list as always :)
