Since I don't have any little ones in my house anymore, y'all know that I post photos of my fur-babies, I have discovered that both Mai-Li and Mandie enjoy being close to me as much as posible, Mandie especially.

Turns out that If I put Mandie inside the bib of my overall shorts of jeans, Mandie will stay there almost all day. She will stay there while I am on the computer, reading, and even while I am cooking. I think she is just so happy that she has found a house filled with love and wants to give love back. We are just so happy to have her in our little household as our baby, friend to the other doggies, and my protector - you should see her take on other dogs, no matter what size they are.

Look how comfy she is... So, if you have room in your home and in your heart, please adopt a pet. You can check with your local shelters, the Humane Society, or the ASPCA.... If you don't have room in you home, I'm sure any of these organizations would truly appreciate any contribution you could give.

Since I don't have any little ones in my house anymore, y'all know that I post photos of my fur-babies, well on this particular day, Mai-Li was trying to get my attention while I was working on the computer and I wasn't responding enough to her liking, so this is what she decided to do:

She startled me and I had to grab her so she wouldn't fall off my head!

Then I started laughing and I swear it looks like she is laughing in this photo! She is just too funny, she got my attention then and I gave her a bunch of lovin' PLUS a special treat. :)

Each of the babies has been taking turns snuggling with me during my naps each day since I got out of the hospital. This day it was Lady Mia's turn. She is Nano's mama and the second doggie we adopted. She is really attached to Bill, but makes sure I am OK every day. Gotta love my puppies.....

Mommy and Me Monday: Mommy and Mumbo Watching TV

When I sit in my chair in the family room, at least 4 of our doggies sit with me on the chair (right now there are 5 with me because Nano is on the ottoman), either behind me on the back of the chair or on the arms.  Here is a picture of me and Mumbo as we are watching TV {of course my ever present laptop is with me, too}, he made sure I knew he was there by putting his paw on my shoulder and giving me a kiss on the ear. :)

Mommy and Me Monday: Mandie Hate's the Cold

Hosted by Krystyn at Really, Are You Serious?  I haven't participated in this meme in quite some time and I have really missed it, so I a glad to be back. We go out to breakfast on Sunday mornings at our favorite Irish Pub, Shannon's of Celebration, and we bring Nano, Lady Mia, and Mandie with us. It got too cold for poor Mandie yesterday (as it does on several mornings) because she as less hair than the other doggies and she is kind-of skinny. So, I always bring her blankie with me to wrap her up and cuddle with her to keep her warm.

As most of you know, Bill and I take the doggies on a walk every morning in our little town for about a mile and a half.  Because of my spinal problems and the babies little legs, we take lots of breaks during our walk and Lady Mia loves to cuddle on my lap during our breaks.  Here is a photo of her and I during one of those rest stops.....

Here is my submission for this week... me and my babies at a function in downtown Celebration.  They just love going downtown to see all the people and eat all the wonderful food.  Plus when they get tired of walking, they get to ride on mommy's lap and look around at all the excitement.

Mommy and Me Monday

Welcome to Mommy and Me Monday begun by Krystyn at Really, Are You Serious? It is a way to showcase yourself with your babies... or as in my case my "fur-baby" {Krystyn said it was OK, she told me.} Krystyn explains that there are almost no pictures of the mommies with the kids, so this meme is meant to rectify that. Here is my submission for this week...

Saturday, March 27th is Nano's 2nd birthday so I wanted to share pictures of him then and now. Look how tiny he was, plus he had a bunch of curls and only weighed about 3 pounds.

Now he has long luxurious hair and weighs about 7 pounds, but is still mommy's little boy.
