This week's theme is the songs you listened to while in high school... boy is this gonna date us... but here goes anyway.  The first song I've chosen is from a band that I have been lucky enough to see in concert and MAN do they put on a show and they still sound so good.....

Photograph by Def Leppard

The next group I have also been lucky enough to see THREE times in concert, once on a cruise ship with my boys - Nikolaus even caught a drum stick from Tommy Shaw.  They had a blast.....

Snowblind by Styx

And, finally this last band I have also seen THREE times, one of those times being on that same cruise ship with STYX - also appearing was REO Speedwagon - man what a trip that was! My kids STILL talk about it.

Faithfully by Journey

Hope you enjoyed my walk down memory lane... what were YOU listening to in high school? Write up a post and add it to our linky, you may be chosen as our SPOTLIGHT DANCERS like this week's lucky couple..... Drum roll, please:

Morthern from Qui feci ~~ and ~~ Doylene from A Christian Home

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Now, don't forget to sign the linky, visit the participants, and leave a comment - you know you like them, so does everyone else. For more Monday music fun, visit Amanda, Run DMT and Hairbows & Guitar Picks.

I've never heard of Photograph but I heard of Def Leppard. And OMG, I love Styx and Journey! That must be a very memorable cruise to have the Styx and Reo Speedwagon on board with you. I remember Reo as his Can't Fight This Feeling is my fave song to sing along on karaoke.

I knew I would love your choices!

Journey was my first ever real concert back in 1978 or 79. I loved them! Still do.

I took my kids to see Def Leppard in 1990 (same arena). My then 5 year-old said to me, "Mommy, that's the BEST rock and roll I've ever had!!" Unforgettable.

Thanks bunches for taking me back!! :)

Lorie, this is a nice thing you have going on but I will have to pass. I don't know how to do these things and my son is too busy to help me. It should be fun for those that join. I did listen to your videos. I am strictly country music fan. Thank you for coming by and good luck with this, sorry.

Girl we are absolutely rocking today! I love these songs I'm hearing. Whooo.

Oh Journey. Gosh I didn't even know he was the one who sung that song.

Glad you are rocking with us.
