Real Life Bambi and Thumper

Being the HUGE Disney fan that I am, when I saw this photo on The Daily Squee I had to post it and share with all my other Disney fans. It is so reminiscent of the movie Bambi.




Here is the scene in Bambi which it reminded me:

I love Disney movies, I have them all and even though the boys are all grown up, some days I still watch them all by myself and remember the days when they were little, sitting on my lap watching with me.  Alex called me the other day to let me know that he was watching "The Fox and the Hound" - his favorite Disney movie and was remembering when we used to watch it together when he was little. Disney really does bring families together.

Mom Always Said to Eat Your Vegetables

It's very important to listen to your mommy when she says to each your veggies so that you will grow nice and strong.

Now, I know my hubby is reading this, so I do NOT want to hear anything from you Bill about the green peas!!

I do not eat green peas, they are just something that I cannot stomach - they make me sick and have ever since I was a kid, even the smell makes me wrech {sorry for that image}. When I make them for my family{which I haven't done in YEARS, since it's just Bill & I}, I have to make them in a sealed boil-n-bag pouch in the microwave and let one of the boys open them. Then they have to be at the other end of the table or I can't eat my dinner.

Maybe I need therapy!!

Kissing Kittens

I know that I've been a little absent from my blog over the last few days and I'm really sorry. I've been having quite a bit of pain in my neck and back plus suffering from a few really nasty migraines from the physical therapy that I've been getting for my neck post-surgery. I hope to be able to get back to regular posting pretty soon and to visiting all of my wonderful friends' blogs on a much more frequent basis. I hope you are all doing well and that you and your families are enjoying spring.

OK, folks, thanks to my most wonderful husband, I've found another website with the most adorable photos of animals - with a catch - these have captions that just sent me into fits of laughter.
