Fast2Sleep from Potent Health Supplements Review

I recently had the privilege of reviewing a supplement from Potent Health Supplements http://potenthealthsupplements.com/fast2sleep.htm called Fast2Sleep. Since I, like more than 60 million Americans, suffer from some type of sleep related issues, I was more than willing to give this product a try.

Before going into the review, I have two thing to say:

1. I have a spinal disability, including arthritis, stenosis, and a herniated disc in my neck, plus a herniated disc in my lower back that has recently been surgically repaired. Because of this, along with suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I have not had a full nights sleep in about 8 years.

2. BEFORE TAKING ANY TYPE OF HERBAL OR NATURAL SUPPLEMENT, CHECK WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH ANY OF YOUR MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR ANY MEDICATION THAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY TAKING. (This is something that I did before beginning this supplement.)

Now, onto, the Fast2Sleep. Here is some info from the company:

The Fast2Sleep supplement contains these active ingredients:

~ Melatonin which is important in the regulation of the circadian rhythms of several biological functions.

~ Piper Methysticum, which is the Kava plant of the western Pacific. Kava is a tranquilizer primarily consumed to relax without disrupting mental clarity.

~ Huperzia serrata (or Huperzia A.) which has been used to treat Alzheimer's disease, memory loss, and other cognitive, neurological issues.

The Fast2Sleep supplement is said to:

~ Be non-habit forming

~ Be safe for long term use

~ Help you fall asleep faster

~ Help you stay asleep longer

~ Give you more restful, deeper sleep

~ Promote the body's natural restoration process

Here is my take on Fast2Sleep.....

The product is a small strip that you place on your tongue and let it dissolve (think Listerine breath strips). The directions say to dissolve 1-2 strips on your tongue for 5 consecutive nights of the week and then don't take any for 2 nights. You should allow at least 10 days to see if the supplement is working for you, and you should take the supplement the same time every evening.

I began taking the supplement on a Monday evening around midnight... I usually am up until around 2am blogging because I cannot sleep well, but I wanted to give this a fair shot. I actually felt myself feeling drowsy about 20 minutes later and then had to turn off my laptop and the lights because I was falling asleep typing. Not bad, I thought, but how long will you work??? I was able to sleep for about 4 hours that first night -- my usual, but I was impressed about how easily I fell asleep, and I did think it was a pretty good sleep. By Wednesday, I actually slept for a total of 6 hours in a row, something I haven't done in 8 years!! Now, I was totally impressed! I was still falling asleep easily within about 30 minutes after taking the Fast2Sleep and slept pretty soundly for 4-6 hours straight. (I don't sleep much longer than that because of the pain I am in, I wake up and have to change positions in bed.) Then, on the two days that I didn't take the supplement, I still found that I was able to fall asleep around the same time 12:30 a.m., and slept about 5 hours soundly.

Now, for the only thing I didn't like.... the taste, it is quite strong, and you cannot drink anything for at least 15 minutes after the strip dissolves on your tongue. I did get used to it after a few days, and it really isn't intolerable. It is a small price to pay for some solid sleep. Which leads me to the cost... which is $30.oo for a packet of 24 strips (enough for a month), not too much in my opinion, about the cost of a health insurance prescription copay. So overall, I was quite impressed with the Fast2Sleep supplement.

There are several other supplements on the Potent Health website, that I did not try, so cannot comment on, as well as an earning potential opportunity, again something I cannot comment on.

Thank you to Eric Loebl for providing the Fast2Sleep product to me for use and review. If you have any questions on this or any other of the products on the Potent Health website, please feel free to contact Eric through the site, he is very helpful and always returns emails promptly. http://potenthealthsupplements.com/products.htm

I have a problem sleeping too! I haven't slept more than 5 straight hours since I was pregnant over 6 years ago.
