Life is so much better with pets, isn't it.

I think my favorite cartoon growing up was non-Disney too. I loved the Flintstones. We would watch each evening as Mom was getting our dinner ready...and whenever she would turn on the mixer to make mashed potatoes, it would screw the tv up. Hated that.

Weirdest thing I've eaten...oh my. I grew up with a father that was an avid hunter. We had game a lot...but can say I've never eaten raccoon. Poor you. That cannot be good any way you cook it. Shudder.

For me...I guess it would be fried fish eggs. Mom would dredge the egg sacs in flour and fry them with salt and pepper. They taste a bit like scrambled eggs only better...if you get them from the right kind of fish...and they are fresh.

This year is flying by... Isn't it crazy?

Jealous of your weather, it's been in the 50s to 60s here.

My parents replaced us with dogs too; as each child left she got another dog.

LOL @ your dad and the dog. That's just too funny. How did he survive all those girls?

Oh gosh, I do remember Underdog. Flashback...

Smoked octopus? Hmmmm.... You know, I'd probably try it.

Have a great week.

Hi there: Thanks for mingling with me. I love your little doggies. They are so cute. I just noticed that your son is in the armed forces. Wow! You must be a very proud mama.

I am jealous of your weather and totally get the hair thing. Mine does that and so does my one daughter's hair. Curly curly like mad this weekend. I love it, but she will probably hate it.

I think smoked octopus sounds kind of yucky. But then again if it is at all like squid I would probably like it.Oh Lord, raccoon is awful! Never had it hopefully never will. People should not sneak food into rice-a-roni.

You are lovely and I liked your mingles. Cheers and have a great week.
