I live in central FL with the love of my life, Bill and our fur babies: Nano the Yorkie we had first, then we adopted his mama, Mia, then came along Mai-Li (who passed on 1/13/12) and her two babies, Mumbo and Maila. We also adopted Mandie, a Min-Pin/Chihuahua mix. I have made so many fabulous friends through social networking and have had the pleasure of meeting many in person and hope I get to meet more. Bill retired in 2004 and I have been disabled since 2003, traveling is our passion, but we also enjoy all that our local area has to offer, especially Walt Disney World - I'm just a big kid at heart. Our children are grown with the 3rd one in the Army reserves, already having proudly served a tour in Afghanistan. I love my family, friends, all things Disney, God and my Country! "We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." Dr. Seuss
I was following this mom and her daughter in the grocery store yesterday and almost ran into them when they came to a sudden stop---the mom had told the girl she couldn't buy something for her and she just didn't have the money to spare, but if she did, she would buy it. The daughter said something like, oh, it's not because you don't like me? And they came to a dead stop and the mom was like, um, what??? why do you say that??? (in a loud voice) and the daughter says, remember that one time you said you didn't like me? And then they just stood blocking the aisle while the mom explained that no matter what happens she will always always always love her with all her heart, but sometimes it's hard to be a mom and she didn't mean to say anything that might sound like that at all, etc. It was really sweet. I had to pretend to be studying the mustard section really hard cause I felt like I was intruding on a private moment!
