My friend Noelle of Jumpin Beans told me about this sewing program started by the Soldiers Angels, a volunteer-led, nonprofit providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families, their motto: "May No Soldier Go Unloved."
Now I cannot sew at all, but if you can or if you know of someone who can, please see if there is anyway you can help support this incredible cause. The BLANKETS OF HOPE program offers Comfort and hope for recovery for our Wounded Heroes in Combat Support Hospitals.
Will you please make just ONE?
Guidelines can be found on the Soldiers Angels website.
You can also follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
On behalf of all the troops who serve and for those who have made the sacrifice of being wounded, let me THANK YOU very much for anything that you can do.
God Bless America!!!

I can't sew either, but the program sounds wonderful.
Oh my goodness! I need to share this with my mom. She is a sewer.
I just wanted to drop by and check in on you.. it feels like forever!
This is awesome and so are you. I've decided to "honor" you with the Versatile Blogger Award. Stop on over at http://www.insanityisnotanoption.com tomorrow to see the post. Hopefully you will spread the love and sparkles! Rock on!
That's awesome! I unfortunately am not a sewer either, but I hope to learn someday :)
I'll keep this in mind for when I happen to run across someone who sews!
I don't think your followers number is moving. It's still the same as to when I joined you. Anyway, I will pass this around needless to say I don't sew. Have a wonderful weekend, and see you on Monday.
What a wonderful program! My moms group is always looking for new outreach ideas. I can't sew either, but I could do something similar to what you did. Totally awesome, mama!
I wish I could sew, I'll have to tell the sewers at church. I know they do the baby blankets and other things.
awwwww, none of us know anyone that can do it! lol, hey, at least we are trying to get the word out... maybe it will reach one person!!! thanks for sharing this
