Monday's Music Moves Me: Gospel Favorites

.
Photobucket

Welcome to Monday's Music Moves Me the fantabulistic music meme hosted by me, Dolly from XmasDolly, Larry from Cakeblast and Callie from Jamerican Spice and this week's theme is Favorite Male Artist, so let's see who you all listen to - I can't wait.

This week's theme is Christian or Gospel music... if you aren't Christian and you chose to post music of your religion, that's OK... we love everyone!  For my choice, I went back to my favorite singer of all time because he is just such a magnificent musician and has an incredible voice, plus he sings beautiful gospel songs. Here is The King with.....

Oh Happy Day

Where No One Stands Alone

How Great Thou Art

Amazing Grace

So, who's got you movin' and grovin' this Monday??? Share it with us and bring along a friend. Here's all you need to do:

First step: Head on over to You Tube, or anywhere you get your music videos and post them on your blog! Upcoming themes are to you LOWER RIGHT of XmasDolly's blog.

Second Step: Grab our "Monday's Music Moves Me" Button, mine is on my right sidebar, or off of any of the hosts' sites.

Third step: SIGN THE LINKY - Follow your hosts, grab their buttons too when you visit them and show them some love by leaving a comment.. (mine is on my right sidebar above the 4M button)

ROCK ON MY FRIENDS!!

We're very sorry to say there has been some people not playing along, and just signing our linky so other people will stop by their blogs for giveaways or whatever! Unfortunately, these bloggers will be justifiably deleted from our linky. Leave a comment, grab our button, or follow us. If you don't want to post a video, you can post a link to a video, or post some lyrics, but please - at least attempt to make it music related. Thank you for your understanding.

*** Just one thing to note... We are family friendly blogs and while we don't want to censor anyone, we do ask that you keep your songs rated PG13 or less.
Thank you very much!***

Where No One Stands Alone - always read that title on a songbook at home but couldn't link it with a tune. Today's my first time to hear it clearly. And sang by no less than Elvis Presley :) Thanks for that.

Elvis always brings back great memories - my dad loved his music, too, and would play it all the time (and sing to it off-key...heh!) :) Great choices, Lorie! :)

I knew you'd have Elvis in this post...but I didn't expect for all your selections to be from him. Fabulous!!! Love them all. <3

Are you an Elvis fan? lol Gee Whiz where's Mickey? Anyway, yes he was definitely a religious boy wasn't he, and every one of his songs (if they're not fast) sounds like a love song don't they! BUT THAT'S A GOOD THING! I had to delete a couple earlier. They had no music up or anything pertaining to it either. Oh well, we all have to follow rules right? Hugs

Wow. You know... I expected today that I'd hear a lot of shameless proselytizing-music but I didn't expect to hear ELVIS... that makes you awesomer than awesome. You just made my day with these.
